It's a shame that you've not had a 5-star experience with us this time, but I did want to point out that all our characters are made individually by hand, from unique pieces of bamboo root - and so all our poses are random. There should be a message on every character's page on the website that mentions this as well. We're really keen to ensure everyone has a positively memorable experience with us, and really want to avoid any kind of disappointment. So please know that we'll look at trying to make that message about random poses even more visible on the pages for future customers, based on your experience. Plus, if you did want to switch your new friend for one with an open beak, we can always check to see if we had one available. Please feel free to get in touch if so, and we'll do our best.
