Hi Kathy, it's a shame that you feel you have been left in the dark. We have received and replied to all of your emails so we are unsure as to why you wouldn't be receiving them. We can assure you the items you received were the correct items that you have ordered. You ordered the Three King Decorations, which are the flat ornaments with string to be hung, and you are quoting what sounds like the Three King Dinky Ducks, which are the free-standing ones. As said in our emails if you wish to exchange the items you can send us the Decorations back and we can organise to get you some Three King Dinky Ducks instead. We pride ourselves on our customer service here at DCUK so we apologise you feel you’ve been let down on this occasion.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback for us, Gail. It's a shame to hear that you weren't happy with the wrapping on this occasion. I can assure you that we aim to deliver the same high levels of service, regardless of the time the order was placed. On this occasion, it sounds like your expectation was for the items to be packed up suitable to give as a gift straight from the packing box. Unfortunately, that's not something we currently offer, as the extra packaging would impact greatly on the time and cost on every item. It's also worth pointing out that the characters you ordered were the 50% discounted promotional ducklets - so it would have been even harder for us to offer these hand-carved and painted characters for such a good price with a free box added. For the last 20 years we've found that customers either purchase a gift box or bag if they'd like to make it a special gift, or they re-wrap or box the ducks themselves at home. That's why we offer a gift box or gift bag as an option only. Our official stockists in retail don't sell our characters in boxes either, but some do offer the same option to purchase an additional gift bag. We've been using some promotions to help our stockists offer the bags free, and we sometimes offer special deals online too - but for now, it's usually a case of making sure the characters arrive in the post as safely and securely as possible... but I do agree with you that it'd be even better to have them presented ready to go as well. We'll take on board your comments though, and will have a think about how we can look to manage expectations better with the standard packaging for customers like yourself. Finally, it's worth mentioning that our reputation is everything to us, and we're all about delivering a 5-star experience for every customer. With that in mind, my colleague Katie has kindly suggested we send something in the post that we hope you'll appreciate. Either for your recent items, or to perhaps use for another time.
