Just to clarify, the “Carol” and “Monty” style ducks were inspired by Carol Klein and Monty Don, but the ducks themselves are not named that. There is always an option to request a different name tag at the time of purchase if preferred, so it’s very easy to personalise them. We really appreciate your suggestion and have since updated the website to reflect this, thanks to your feedback. It seems a real shame to receive a 2-star rating for both our customer service and our little gardener characters over a very simple and easily fixable issue. We’d be more than happy to send replacement name tags or suggest a way to personalise your existing ducks so your wife can enjoy her Monty and Carol characters without having to purchase new ones.
