Hi, thanks for your feedback and given the review provided we saw it fit to investigate further. After speaking to our Fleet Manager he confirmed that a text was sent with a provisional date, although when we called you we were informed that personal effects may be in the boot. In light of this our call handler notified our team leader and called you back (left a voicemail) advising you to remove any personal effects before the vehicle is collected. From experience, this demonstrates good customer service as due to the volume of vehicles collected annually (40,000+), it is more difficult to keep track of personal effects for scrap cars once they arrive on site. Therefore, we recommend you remove them before the point of collection. The original collection date was not made as a result of the personal effects issue, instead the car was collected promptly the next day.
