Hi Amanda,
Unfortunately I was unable to reach you by phone. I am sorry if you felt that our staff member's manner was overly abrupt. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and poor service has no excuse. Your policy was not actually cancelled and you would indeed have been covered if there was an accident. Michael had stopped the direct debit from automatically renewing, but left the policy in force while awaiting instruction to cancel or renew.
I will pass your feedback on to our customer services team.
We really appreciate your business, and would like to thank you for your continued loyalty to AXA and for renewing your policy with us.

Apologies Paul I was in work. Thank you for your quick reply. I'm glad to know I was still covered.
I'm sorry to complain but the call did get to me. If the online quote with the other provider had turned out to be correct I would have just left axa and the impression I got was ok so long we don't care! But thank you for you reply I appreciate it.

Satisfied with service
Fairer pricing of insurance quote and very helpful customer service.
However my fear is that next year's renewal will be overpriced and I will be forced to move again.
