i wanted to amend my policy and they were charging another 30 euro handling fee and when I queried this I was told there was no handling fee but there was a government levy which was actually working...

Hi Patricia,
Sorry I missed you by phone. I apologise if you felt that the service was poor and our staff explained the situation poorly. You are correct in that the Government levy is not €16. The levy is 5% of the policy fee per annum and our staff member was incorrect in their advice. There is a €30 administrative fee for permanent changes to the policy in respect of the address, car and drivers, so unless you were changing any of these 3 then no fee is applicable.

Unable to renew online
I was not able to renew online. My email and password wouldn't work. I had to phone to renew which was difficult during office hours.

Due to some technical issues not all customers are eligible to renew their policy online.
This is something that we are currently updating and hope to have this completed soon.

We are open Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm and Saturday 10am - 4pm.
