Thank you for your feedback. I'm not sure what you were expecting, but we like that it is a good representation of a robin rather than a chunkier and thus heavier 3D version. It will survive outdoor and like all unprotected metal will weather naturally. A 'winter coat' of a clear outdoor varnish would extend this further. Also as it is relatively inexpensive ornamental item given the cutting, welding and painting work involved it is certainly good value. If you were interested in something more solid though we do have https://www.worm.co.uk/collections/castings-and-carvings/products/metalbird-robin-plant-stake which although 2D, is cut from 3mm Corten steel and very attractive in the right place. Naturally this is reflected in the price.
