Dear Stephen, Thank you for the 5 star review on our service. We have taken on board the lack of shelves in the middle cabin and will look at fitting soon this winter. Laughton has four USB sockets, four 240v sockets and two 12v sockets throughout the boat. During the winter months we will look at fitting two more USB charging points in the middle cabin - but this will depend on the voultage capacity of the wire in that cabin. The smoke and CO alarms are tested before each hire and came back from your hire in working order, they will sometimes be activated if the batteries are getting low or spiders can climb in, which set them off. The bathroom and toilet both have closing bolts inside to lock the doors while in use and clip back catches to fix them in an open position.
