I am sorry that you are disappointed with your order. I can confirm that we do not deny that our Birch products are manufactured from 18mm Birch Plywood. This is deemed a premium product, costing the same as most hardwoods, and is unlike other plywood in aesthetic qualities; hence, we use it throughout the entirety of our Cajon products, which relies on its tonal characteristics. I do believe our images showcase the plywood structure well. However, I will ensure that our website explicitly states that it is 18mm Birch Plywood for further clarity for future customers.
