At Easter my son had a horrific accident on the island where he lives. The staff couldn't have done more for us, the traffic was terrible to get to the port and we arrived after the ferry was loaded and doors where shut, but they opened things up, got us on and managed to get us off very quickly too. Yes, prices can be expensive but having family the live on Guernsey, it is a pitfall of island living. The answer is to book as early as possible and use the promotion codes in My Red Funnel. I agree the food is average, so we don't use this facility. Red Funnel is far cheaper the Its competitor for vehicle travel, we haven't had a poor sailing with them in over three years. I say Well done' to all!

This week my fare was extremely good value -£36 for a 3 night break.
Sometimes the fares are too expensive by far and should be reasonable all the time for residents.
