We are delighted to hear that your experience with Ocean was pleasant and the members of staff you dealt with were helpful through the whole process. I am sorry that you experienced slightly more paperwork than is usual. If during a loan application we have to make an alternative offer, with a different lender, then we do have to meet the new lenders own requirements on things like ID and proof of income. On these rare instances it can make the process seem a little paperwork heavy, as technically you have twice the paperwork we’d usually expect! I’m sorry if this caused you any inconvenience – and hope that it was worth it in the end. Thank you Steven Hewitt Ocean Finance
