Thank you for letting us know about the trouble you had installing your ceiling fan. We would have been able to refer you to the technical team that may have been able to assist with the issues the electrician was experiencing at the time. Although, we’re pleased to hear that you were overall happy with its performance once installation was complete. In our listings we do try to make it clear which models come with a light and which do not. The Spyda is light adaptable and therefore either the light kit accessory needs to be purchased or a package that includes the light. In relation to the brightness, we try to provide as much information as we can based on what is given to us by the manufacturer, but the appearance can be very subjective and based on personal preferences.

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. We can assure you that the item delivered was indeed a Fanco product. However, as Martec covers the warranty on Fanco’s behalf for this model you will notice that their branding appears on the documentation that comes with the fan, including the product manual and warranty card. Rest assured that it is a quality product and we hope this clarifies the link between the two brands.

Hi John, thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback. Once we prepared the order we provided a link to the product so you could confirm the details of the order. This link was to the model without light however, we received confirmation that all details were correct and dispatched the order accordingly.  Within the email trail, we had also provided a link to the model with light as requested, however following this when we were asked to prepare the order it was the $239 model specified (the one without light). The model with light of course, being higher in price. We do apologise for any misunderstanding, however, when the total was confirmed on your end we assumed that you had decided on the model without the light.
