Thanks for taking the time to give feedback. I can understand your experience was frustrating. I've looked into this and it turns out that some of the curtains were mislabeled in the warehouse and the error was corrected after this incident. I agree that ivory lining will make a white fabric look a bit yellow if the light is passing through it during the day but it will revert to white during the evening when they are drawn. Surprisingly, white linings are very hard to come by for ready made curtains otherwise we would use them for this reason. If you would like a refund or to exchange for a different pair, please don't hesitate to let us know. We would really prefer you to be happy with your purchase.
