Thanks for your feedback. The rubber tyres can smell a bit .... of rubber ... when new. The smell usually fades after a short while though. The quality of construction is similar to higher priced on the market of a similar design. We're not sure why you would describe it as low quality I'm afraid. Thanks for your feedback anyway.
