Unsatisfactory service. Happy to money but lack of communication

The sale was easy and pleasant, however there was a 5 month delay on delivery of items. Part of this was due to the protector covers not being readily available. Then there was a further delay on 2...

Dear Mr Greenwood, Thank you for taking time to write a review. Here at JB furniture like everyother company worldwide we are dealing with a pandemic and a well reported shipping crisis, deliveries arriving into the UK are very slow. All goods delivered into our warehouse are delivered to customers within a matter of day's. We're very sorry to hear you weren't happy with the service you received from JB furniture however delays in goods arriving into the UK are due to circumstances way beyond our control.

Thank you for your response and completely appreciate the challenges businesses have endured throughout the pandemic. Although our goods were ordered back in July with a delivery date of January. Unfortunately, this was missed and delivery made in May, which we were not too dissatisfied about due to weather not being great. We were satisfied to delay the delivery. The area where we feel the customer service fell down was keeping us informed and getting the wrong size covers. Which we are still waiting for which is a year on from when we made the original order. There has not been any proactive check in with us to keep us informed nor have we been informed when to expect the delivery. Some timeline would be appreciated. Normally when there is an inconvenience to customers some sort of compensation is given, however this has not happened. Your shop had been had been recommended to us by a friend where we spent over £5k.

Item arrived quickly, with a couple of calls to help with delivery timing. Item arrived safely and was a good price. Would buy from JB again.

Far to much packing.

Bought a stock item. Paid in full including delivery. However if they had explained just how much cardboard was used for the packing, I would have paid the xtra and had it unwrapped and the packing...
