Thank you for your feedback Mr Dawson as we appreciate the opportunity to investigate and respond. We are saddened by your review as we feel we provided a full and thorough service. This was a very complicated leasehold transaction with complex legal considerations and we worked as quickly as the legal processes would allow. We are sorry that you felt that our communication was poor. However, our records show that on average, you were updated at least once a week and regularly advised on the complexities of this purchase, the delays from third parties, potential timescales and the legal charges incurred. The additional third party costs were incurred due to these complexities. We kept you informed of these throughout and they were approved by you prior to exchange of contracts. We appreciate that buying and selling property can be a stressful time and occasionally, due to the nature of those transactions, they can take longer or can be more involved than originally anticipated. However, we are pleased that we were able to overcome the many challenges and complete the purchase relatively quickly once Deed of Variation was received. Wishing you every happiness in your new home.
