We understand that selling a property can be stressful, and we appreciate how challenging this must have been for you given your circumstances. We aimed to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible, but the sale of your property was complicated by matters outside the normal course of events. We acknowledge your point about returning calls and will address this in our processes. However, our records show that you were kept updated, especially on the complexities of this sale, including delays from the other seller and third parties, potential timescales, and the legal costs incurred. We apologise that you did not receive a full breakdown of costs until after completion. Although these costs were agreed upon by your legal representatives, you should have seen them beforehand. The exchange of contracts and completion took place simultaneously because your buyer needed to be satisfied that the occupiers had vacated.
