Having investigated this, you have added the "Optional Cancellation, Trip Interruption and Disruption Coverage" onto the policy and this optional cover has a limit of £1,500. This means that the maximum that can be paid out in any claim for this section is £1,500, and unfortunately the cost of your trip has exceeded this limit. We understand from claims that this has been settled at this amount and while we understand this is frustrating, it does highlight how important it is to check that the policy limits of the product you are purchasing meet your needs, for example the cancellation limit meets the total cost of your trip.’ Kind regards
