Delivery company said driver would let us know in a reasonable time on the delivery day so i could contact my partner and ask him come home from work(rather than sit at home all day) as it required...

I'm sorry to hear you had a problem with the delivery of your bed, we rely on the delivery company as much as our customers do to provide the best service. We use this company as they offer to call ahead of delivery and they have let us down here. I hope you don't see this as a reflection on our own service.
