We were saddened to learn the chamfered edges and rustic imperfections were not to your taste, as this is the nature of solid rustic wood. However we can see that you decided to keep the shelf, rather than returning it for a full refund. We hope this means you have started to like the character after all. We are a tad confused by your comments about bad service, as there has been no prior communication from you before posting this feedback other than your email order updates from us. Could you please elaborate so we can understand the issue better?

The wood was great but the brackets were not strong enough. I had to buy more brackets to take the weight.

Hi Christina, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us here on Feefo. We're sorry to hear you found the brackets weren't strong enough. We do advertise these shelves are suitable for solid walls only, as the brackets aren't compatible with hollow wall types. We can assure you these brackets are sufficient to support up to 35kg in addition to the weight of the shelf when installed to a solid wall.
