The service was good, The products not so good. The pins on the fairy lights broke on first use. The plastic used in the connectors is flimsy compared to a set a bough tlast year.

This morning both myself and Alex (technical Lighting Sales) have examined your products and the complete range. Our manufacturer in China did use a softer plastic for this latest batch, we were told this helps with waterproofing and general use in colder winter temperatures, so it has been sold to us as a superior product.
Yes you are correct that there is some flexability in the pins, and the softer shell round the pins. We found the functionality to be good, although you do need to be a bit more careful to align the pins when joining plugs and sockets. We never got any broken or bent pins.
On reflection I agree with you, and prefer the harder plastic, so we will make sure that future stocks are ordered in the harder plastic.
We will also be offering you free replacements.
