Hello Joan. Sorry to hear about your delivery issues. According to our records, everything was okay with your order details, and so it seems to be an issue with DHL, or even the import office in Ireland. We have no control over import fees to non-UK addresses sadly, and do make customers aware of the potential extra cost when they order. Perhaps we can make it even more visible to help people like you next time, as well as looking at other options that might reduce the chances of import fees for delivery. We can also look to work with more locally-based retail shops in your area, as that will be easier too. I believe one of my colleagues from the retail team has been in touch already, and so hopefully you've got things resolved one way or another with the import fees and delivery situation. If you still need some help or advice, please get in touch via orders@dcuk.com. We'll do what we can to help to ensure you have a positive experience in the end, like almost all our other customers. Our usual positive feedback and reputation is everything to us, and so it's a real shame to have a poor 1-star review for DCUK based on overseas delivery services and import issues. Thank you for the feedback. We have pre-printed random (or surprise names) added to our characters, but have to create requested names separately ourselves using a special laser-cutting process. Any original tags we didn't use, are often put onto other nameless characters who don't need specific names. Or, they are useful for helping our retail partners. As we work so hard to ensure all customers have a 5-star experience, and DCUK maintains a positive reputation, it's a little disappointing to only get a 3-star review in this case. But, never mind and we appreciate the feedback. We can only hope that if you're tempted to buy online from us again, we can sprinkle some magic and make it a great experience again perhaps. Thank you.
