My only criticism is. That the packaging was open and the box was very damaged

Many apologies that your order arrived as it did, it sounds like it had a rougher than normal journey with the courier, I will raise this issue with DPD. I hope that despite the packing being damaged the goods themselves are OK. If you find that any of your cake boxes are damaged and unusable then please let us know and we will ensure that you are not left out of pocket.
