Thank you for the fantastic words of support. Malcolm is the guy with the initials MC. He does know what he's talking about and is always very helpful - he's able to talk a fault or repair through from a very practical point of view having been in the trade, looking after heaters, for many years now( he's stopped counting!) My heater is a Webasto Air Top 3900 installed in a sailboat. Please see the picture that accompanied my email to steve.winter@butlertechnik.com dated Jan 14, 2017. The two filters on the left of the photo constitute the "filter upgrade kit" I received from Butler Bus Technik; the one larger filter to the right of the photo is my original filter (which needs to be replaced); The replacement filters and the original filter are quite different in size and configuration (all filters are facing in the same direction regarding fuel flow.) Are the filters I received suitable replacements for my original filter? Do the two smaller units replace the one larger unit? Are the two smaller filters intended to be installed in parallel or in series? Please help me determine how to proceed. Best Regards, Christopher Leary
