It was also nice to talk to you to clarify your point on the letter. We also really appreciate you raising that. Although a formal letter is not a requirement of the policy, insurers do expect groups to have the landowner’s permission and to risk assess the areas where activities take place. This is good practice rather than a compulsory document, and we apologise that our adviser’s wording caused confusion. We will highlight this in our next team meeting.
