In 2018 we planted that exact same Rose Finn Apple Fingerling seed lot from which you were sent your seed. We had no problems with that seed lot and harvested a normal crop. Nature can sometimes throw a curve ball. Lots of things can factor in - like too much or not enough moisture in the soil. Soil temps too cold or too hot. William, we test grow a lot of varieties and what we offer are the very best we've ever come across. Caleb

Rose Finn Apple Fingerling has a pink skin and a golden flesh. It is a 200 year-old variety. The only potato we grow and offer with a pink flesh is Adirondack Red, a fairly new release from Cornell. Caleb
