Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear of your disappointment with some aspects of the tour. The Chinese government cancelled New Year celebrations in Shanghai and we regret that we were unaware of this prior to your departure. We rarely receive complaints about our guides and have passed on your comments to our office in China who in turn, have asked your guide in Shanghai for his comments. He was unaware of any disappointment, especially as you rated him as 'excellent' on the evaluation form, but we are sorry that you felt the service he provided was not as good as your other guides. Your comments about the location of your hotels and regarding the arrangements in Hong Kong have been taken on-board, although we feel we should mention that the hotels in Shanghai and Xian are well located and close to some of the main tourist sites in these cities.
