Skip was delivered on time but pick up took 3 days longer than expected and required two phone calls to TJ Waste to eventually get it collected. The skip was in a parking space in a private car park...

Thank-you for your positive feedback, despite experiencing a less than desirable service.
I have identified the following information regarding your skip collection.
A call was made on Tuesday 15th Sep to request a skip collection, agreed for Thursday 17th Sep. The service was not completed on this day and unfortunately I cannot yet find a reason as to why this may be. The collection was automatically moved to Friday 18th Sep and, following a second phone call, was completed.
We're very sorry for the delay and the subsequent inconvenience caused to the residents, and ultimately, your business - it is not acceptable. If you can provide any further information with regards to the '3 day delay' and additional phone call, I will gladly investigate further.

Luke - Further to my original feedback, I'd forgotten to also emotion that I requested the skip be delivered after 10am as nobody would be on site before that time to receive it. The lorry turned up around 9.15 and it was only luck that the electrician was early that day and was able to call to let me know it had arrived and to ask 'where did I want it.
In response to your reply I don't recall ringing on Tuesday and asking for Thursday collection but it was a few weeks ago. It however was late whichever way you look at eventually the skip was collected on Friday after 4pm as it was still there when I left site and yes it was unacceptable especially as I now remember it came early, so really the service should be downgraded from good to average/poor.
I would also argue that it was a small 4 yard skip, I've hired other 4 yarders which are definitely bigger so your price was cheaper than some competitors only because the volume is smaller.

Also, the 3 day delay refers to the fact that I rang Tuesday expecting next day morning collection regardless of the fact Thursday was then 'agreed' which in fact it wasn't, it was stated and I wasn't given an option, therefore it doesn't constitute an agreement.
It then was collected last thing Friday so that was another whole day.
3 days in all but if you want to be pedantic we'll call it two and a half.

Thank-you for your further comments. In addressing your reply, I simply wish to objectively look at the information to identify ways in which we can improve our service for you, and others.
As per the original phone call - Your delivery request for between 9.45am - 4.00pm was clearly instructed to the driver and should have been met, for this, I apologise for their slightly earlier arrival - they will be made aware of the inconvenience it caused. I would like to assure you the driver will have made every effort to contact you for delivery instruction, if the electrician had not.
The skips are standard industry sizes, a 4 cubic yard skip was provided. We would have been happy to address your concern if communicated to us during the your hire.
With regards to the call made on Tuesday 15th Sep for a collection, the next available slot was offered for Thursday 17th Sep, to which you accepted. I'm afraid you did not communicate you expected a next morning collection. Irrespective, we failed to collect the skip on this date - again, this is unacceptable.
I'm sorry you now feel the service was overall negative. Thank-you for taking the time to provide your feedback, it will aid us in improving our service.
