Hi,
I'm sorry that you had issues with your order..I note that over the last 3 years you have purchased this item 5 times and only on this occasion has there a problem regarding dates. We have made a conscious decision as a company to sell some of our products, at a much reduced rate, when they have passed their "Best Before" date as the product is still perfectly ok and helps to reduce our environmental impact with waste and customers are able to purchase this line for a short period only if it suits them to do so.
We also usually have plenty of stock of this line but due to an issue with Southampton Port our delivery direct from Japan was unfortunately delayed. Hope this adds some clarity.
