Thank you for taking time to speak with me yesterday regarding your issues with your liability policy. The documents were sent out a few days after inception and your first call regarding the heat endorsement was taken two days later. The documentation was correct as heat cover was confirmed in the statement of fact. The endorsement on the schedule excludes heat use away from any premises owned, rented or leased by the policyholder. We do however accept the response time to reassure your concerns and explain this to you was not acceptable for you and was against our service expectations. This was due to a mis-communication between the administration team and the sales agent you dealt with, in light of this we have sent out a goodwill payment of £25.
