Apologies for your delivery issues, this is not how the process is supposed to go. We have recently switched to Amazon Logistics for our shipments and we have been experiencing some teething issues, which is what has happened here. Once we overcome these issues though, Amazon will be beneficial for all parties, not least because they offer weekend shipments / deliveries as a standard service.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your Orbitsound product. It definitely shouldn't take that long to wake itself from 'doze' mode, however it sounds more like you are describing switching the unit on from being powered completely off. In this case, the speaker has to boot itself up like a computer would do and connect to the WiFi, which can take as long as you describe. Without switching it off completely, it should go into a very low power 'doze' mode, where it should wake up within a few seconds at the slowest of sending music to it.
