Thank you for taking the time to let us have your feedback for our site at Gupton.
I'm glad the welcome was so good but sorry that you felt unable to stay. I've spoken to the site manager about the issues you raised. He tells me they were unaware of the broken tap before your stay but once it was reported it was fixed within a few hours and meanwhile other taps were available. He said that the borehole water is UV treated, filtered, tested regularly and fine to drink. It can look pink due to the sandstone from which it comes but that is apparently harmless. Obviously we're not responsible for the horse flies or weather conditions that preceded your stay, but I appreciate these made the site unappealing to you.
