I only scraped through School Certificate in Brigg Grammar School in Lincolnshire in 1947 but then did quite well in my life. I am now 88 and LRB is completing my education (at last).

Produced: a great magazine/paper, which doesn't pander or patronise so I felt like a grown up. Articles worth keeping and rereading. Measured, erudite, enjoyable.
