Many thanks for your feedback. I am sorry that you feel dissatisfied with our service. I can see you have processed one shipment through our services from our UK warehouse so far. Our shipping rates are reviewed each year, with each of the courier services, to make them as cost effective as possible based on the volume of packages that we receive and we do also apply our service charge to the overall shipping prices, with the couriers, as a percentage. Please be aware that it is a service that you are paying for through our company as well as shipping. The item you were shipping was fairly light in weight but much larger in volume/size. You could have possibly saved further costs on shipping if you had requested a combine and repack service for the handbag to try and reduce the size of the package further and lower your overall shipping price. DHL will base their shipping prices on either the actual weight of the goods or the volumetric/size of the package (s)-whichever is the greater. I can see that the shipping cost with DHL for your original package had been based on the size of the package at 5.18 kg rather than the actual combined weight of the goods 1.18 kg. If you had chosen to repack the handbag prior to shipping and if we had been able to safely package the handbag into a smaller box you could have saved approximately £20-£21 on the original DHL shipping price excluding the additional £2.00 repack charges. Repacking your goods into fewer or smaller packages or as one piece eliminates the risk of individual boxes going missing but it is not always guaranteed that a combine and repack/reduction service will provide sufficient cost savings on the original shipping price with the courier as this is dependant on the types of items that are being repacked or reduced inside a package. Just so you are aware, customers' can get estimated shipping prices from our pricing page on our website. This helps to give you a roundabout figure of what you would pay for the packages for onward shipping when they come to us. If you access our website, at the top there is a option that says 'pricing', if you click on that you can fill out the details of your packages weight and dimensions. Also on there is the 'country destination' bar to select the country, 'From' bar to select the warehouse for dispatch and also a green house icon that you can enter the shipping address you would like the package to be shipped to and you will get an estimate shipping cost for your item from various couriers.
