Thank you for the review. Of course we are disappointed you were not satisfied with your trip. It was especially strong wind that week, which meant certain places could not be reached and hence the difficulty in mooring. I know the guides explained this to you onboard. Thankfully it is rare but it is a risk in diving, especially when heading to remote places. 

We note you scored the trip as perfect on our onboard questionnaire, and you did not mention to the guides about your aircon or any other issues with the cabin. We do ask during the week to bring us any problems so we can try to fix them. 

Regardless you were unlucky with the weather, and also the sickness of the captain late in the trip, which impacted your itinerary, and we do sympathise with you there. I would like the chance to discuss this with you further and hop you will email me on luke@emperordivers.com

Thank you so much for the review and feedback. We are glad you had a positive experience overall. I had a good chance to catch up with Amr today to address your concerns specifically with his guiding. 

Our liveaboard guides generally are there to make sure dive sites are assessed, appropriate plans made and they enter the water to have an overview of the group, keep people on plan and try to point out some interesting things. Generally divers on liveaboard trips, especially those going to the remote marine parks, are experienced and competent, as otherwise it would be impossible for a guide to act as the personal safety diver of 10+ divers. 

The dive at 27 mt was the South plateau of Little Brother. Here there is a cleaning station, where sharks come in deep and can reward divers with a really close encounter. Of course patience is key, so often divers have to descend and wait for shy animals, such as threshers, to become confident enough to approach. Considering it is such a key feature, I am surprised you did not get this from the dive briefing, as it is such a famous spot our guides will usually enthuse about it. On an itinerary that goes to The Brothers, it would be expected to go to depth multiple times for features such as sharks or the wrecks which are on the reef walls. Also, I do understand that guides will often ****** divers back to the boat, and then leave them to complete their safety stop while they go to check on other divers in the group. We would consider a liveaboard standard diver very safe once they are at 5 mt underneath our boat, with just a few minutes and a few metres to ascend. 

I do appreciate that with the guide as your buddy at times, you maybe felt confused when he was also dealing with other divers in his 'group', but he does have to keep an overall eye to provide a service and prevent issues. I apologise if this was not clear to you. If you want a more personal service, especially as a lone diver, we can always provide you with a private guide who will be able to help you make custom dive profiles and be with you through every minute underwater.
