We are sorry to hear you found the weather too hot, that particular section of the route can get very hot indeed (we recommend avoiding Summer months). May and September would get very similar weather but it is difficult to predict. For our standard packages we book the most convenient accommodation, as close as possible to the trail... apologies if you found some of the properties a bit noisy. Our Country Cottages package offers a more rural alternative accommodation option, that might be worth considering for future trips.
