We really do appreciate your choice of Hiscox for your Business Insurance cover, and I am disappointed to hear that you have experienced issues in taking out your cover. Firstly I apologise for the confusion over our timescales for sending out policy documents. We do understand how important these documents are to secure business contracts. Receipt of these can take minutes or a few hours depending internet delivery times. Secondly I am sorry if it appeared that we had hung up on you. Good morning Mr Carter, Firstly, I'd like to thank you for choosing Hiscox for your business insurance, and also for taking the time to provide your feedback. We are aware that the ability to pay for insurance using a credit/ debit card is a favoured option for some, and this enhancement to our business insurance offering is among the features in our future plans. Your feedback helps us prioritise those enhancements where we can add the greatest value to our customers. We believe that the recurring, or continuous authority, payment mechanism via Direct Debit provides reassurance for our customers that their cover will remain in force, leaving one less thing to remember. As an annual event, insurance can be overlooked, and we want to ensure that contractual, membership/ society obligations and insurance cover are maintained.
