Stating the conditions , especially that you do not cover phones over 1 year old and not taking the money and hope nothing happens.

Unfortunately, the required age of any device being insured with Tinhat is clearly stated in the important information section in which customers must agree to before a policy can be purchased online.
In this section it clearly states the following:
To be entitled to cover under this insurance you must confirm the following to be true:
• My gadget was bought in the UK in the last 12 months
However, as your device was not eligible for cover, I have now submitted you a refund for the one-month premium that was collected from account.
