We have reviewed the feedback from your UK Leader, and it was noted that you did not raise any concerns during the trek or summit night with your UK leader and only raised them after the trip. Your concerns could have been easily addressed and resolved at the time had you raised this with your UK leader. We want everyone to enjoy our trips, and addressing expectations or concerns on the mountain allows us to do so. Regarding the summit, our guides are professionally trained to assess a climber’s condition and will turn them back if they believe it is unsafe to continue. A standard summit on this route is a demanding 10-12 hours, which is also noted in your itinerary and on the Vamoos app. Our team is trained to maintain a slow and steady pace to prevent exhaustion and increase the chances of a safe summit.
