when we had a problem with the scales, you didn't want to know and passed us over to the manufacturere who fixed the problem as it was down to the sey up.

When customers have technical issues, we often ask the manufacturer's engineer to contact our customer direct (as in this case) because they are the most experienced at dealing with product queries.
