Hi Alison, Congratulations on becoming a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor. I was sorry to read your review but have now been made aware of recent events. You had over 12 months on a Trainee Licence which after an appeal, the Court of Arbitration confirmed to you that your licence would not be renewed and hence you could no longer teach for reward. At this point it was essential that we advised all your customers that you were unlicensed and they were offered an alternative instructor. We also made it clear to you that to teach for reward was illegal. As a matter of policy we always advise customers when an instructor leaves so that they can make the choice of whether to stay with RED or stay with the departing instructor. In your case, it was course imperative to inform your customers. I note that you subsequently passed your Part 3 and I assume have now been issued with a licence by the DVSA.
