Hi Nigel. Thank you for your feedback and congratulations on passing Part 1. With over 100 trainers nationally we have good coverage for instructor training but some travelling from the trainee's home is probable. Our policy is that up to 45 minutes is reasonable but if it was likely to be longer we would discuss it specifically with the trainee. I hope it isn't too inconvenient. We teach safe driving and both learners and trainee instructors should be able to pass the test regardless of the test centre. That said, familiarisation with the test area is useful but not essential. If you have any concerns, please speak to your trainer or call the Training Department who are there to help.
