We do regret that your outbound flight to Guernsey was cancelled. Any decision to cancel flights is never taken lightly by an airline because they know it is not pleasant for their passengers when the flights do not operate as scheduled. Unfortunately there are times when factors arise which make flight irregularities unavoidable and airlines are also limited by law in the terms and conditions under which they can fly and these limitations are set to ensure passenger safety which has to be their main priority at all times. We do hope that despite the disruption at the start of your holiday you enjoyed your time in Guernsey.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you were disappointed with certain aspects of the La Villette. Channel Island Direct have been using this property for some time and the feedback we receive from our clients indicates that overall levels of satisfaction remain high. We are sorry that you felt this not to be the case. In your comments you do not mention whether you raised your concerns at the time of your stay with the hotel staff. We therefore spoke with the La Villette and they had no record of the issues mentioned being brought to their attention during your stay. We always advise that should a client be disappointed with any aspect of their stay at a property it is extremely important that they raise their concerns at the time, as this allows the hotel staff the opportunity to resolve them. Should the hotel staff not be able to resolve the concerns, then we do provide our office and emergency telephone numbers on our documentation and the contact details of the local representative are also provided on the welcome leaflet. Whilst we are unable to change your experience now that your holiday has passed, I would like to thank you for bringing these matters to our attention.
