Sadly, if items are unavailable at our distribution centre when the order is being placed, it can sometimes revert to a store collection if the store closest to you has stock. If this was the case, this should have been highlighted at the checkout, and we apologise if this was not communicated before the order was billed. Regrettably, once orders have been processed as a click and collect, we are unable to change it to a delivery, but the order can be cancelled via our customer support team, and then reordered for delivery.
We are sorry to hear that you did not receive notice of the unavailable items before collecting your order. Our teams like to contact our customers personally when there are any issues with items on order, and we apologise that this did not reach you. This should also have been communicated via an email to notify you that your order was ready for collection, and we apologise if you did not receive this notification. We’ll be sure to remind our teams of this procedure for future orders.
We apologise again that this experience didn’t live up to your expectations, and hope you’ll trust us again with an order in future. If we can ever be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
If it was not for the great staff at the Squires Crawley store I would cancel my repeat order, have had to contact head office and the store as many times I have received messages to say my order...
