On this occasion there was an unusual delay for which we are obviously incredibly sorry. We contacted you advising that with your order being placed on 15th December we were unable to deliver all items on your order until after Christmas as our last day of dispatch was 18th December.
After the collapse of City Link over the Christmas break we were essentially without a carrier. We made alternative arrangements with a different carrier but after just two days this company decided they were unable to handle our large boxes.
We then sent an email on 12th January explaining that, after some unique challenges, we had a courier who could take some of our larger parcels. We dispatched your tree yesterday and the parcel has arrived at the central hub meaning you will receive your delivery on Monday at the latest.
On a lighter note, I trust that the Acer Griseum tree which was delivered before Christmas was satisfactory?
