On this occasion there was an unusual delay for which we are obviously incredibly sorry. We contacted you advising that with your order being placed on 15th December we were unable to deliver all items on your order until after Christmas as our last day of dispatch was 18th December.
After the collapse of City Link over the Christmas break we were essentially without a carrier. We made alternative arrangements with a different carrier but after just two days this company decided they were unable to handle our large boxes.
We then sent an email on 12th January explaining that, after some unique challenges, we had a courier who could take some of our larger parcels. We dispatched your tree yesterday and the parcel has arrived at the central hub meaning you will receive your delivery on Monday at the latest.
On a lighter note, I trust that the Acer Griseum tree which was delivered before Christmas was satisfactory?

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback, it really is appreciated and helps us identify areas where we can make improvements.
Obviously the collapse of City Link has left us with unacceptable but unavoidable delays for which we are very sorry. We updated your wife via email just after the Christmas break as she contacted us about it and thereafter, last Monday sent an email to your email address explaining that your order should be with you by the early part of next week. Upon checking I can confirm that that this was sent out and should have been delivered on Friday. If this is not the case please do let us know and we'll investigate this fully.
Once again, reiterating the sentiment from the beginning of this comment and our emails earlier in the month, we are very sorry for the delay.

On this occasion there was an unusual delay for which we are obviously incredibly sorry. Unfortunately ordering on 20th December meant that we could not delivery your tree before Christmas and during the Christmas break our courier, City Link, entered administration. We then faced a number of challenges, including being let down by an alternative carrier and finding someone who would carry all of our different sized containers. This proved difficult and we sent out further communications in the first week of 2015. I cannot understand why this was not received by yourself but I'm sorry for any lack of communication.
After finding a company that could guarantee the level of service we expect from a carrier we dispatched your tree yesterday and you should have received it by Monday at the latest. If this is not the case please do let me know and I can arrange for the plant to be returned to us and for a refund as requested.
