Good afternoon Wendy and many thanks for your comments. I'm so pleased the wedding went well and wow, what a lovely venue. Never thought about the labels. That's my fault as I took them off so they didn't spoil the affect in the entrance. The trees are Prunus Beni-Chidori and are one of the earliest flowering cherries of the Spring. In fact I know what you meant by them being a little sparse and that's partly as a result of me picking-off the flowers that were looking tired! Very much betwixt and between the Beni-Chidori flowering and the more traditional spring cherries coming into flower though even now just one week later, there is a little more more choice and give it a further 2 weeks and we'll be snowed under with blossom. Anyway next year they'll be perfect and a great reminder for your son and daughter-in-law.
