Thank you ever so much for the review - 5 stars is everything we aim for, so we are really pleased you felt we were! We really appreciate your feedback.

Thank you for your feedback — we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Wydale tanks use either a sponge or nitrile gasket depending on the lid design, with both chosen specifically to provide a reliable watertight seal. Sponge gaskets are typically used on larger external lids where extra compression helps create an effective seal, while nitrile gaskets are often used on smaller or internal lids where long-term durability is key. When fitted and used correctly, sponge gaskets are designed to perform well for many years, even when lids are removed and refitted. Issues with them are very uncommon, but we completely understand how frustrating it can be if something doesn’t seem right. Because we work closely with these products and have direct hands-on experience with the ranges we supply, we’re always happy to help troubleshoot and offer practical advice where needed. Please do get in touch with us directly — we’ll be more than happy to look into this with you and make sure everything is working exactly as it should. We stand by the products we supply and are always here to help.

We will raise this with Tuffa and review the product listing to make sure the measurements are as clear and up to date as possible. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
