I have had a chance to investigate this further and while i appreciate that this may have caused some inconvenience, i unfortunately do not fully agree with the comments in the review. I am unable to go into much detail on the public domain, due to data protection regulation preventing me from doing so but i can contact you directly if required with a more detailed explanation. I have reviewed the call in question that took place and can see that there was a medical condition that you considered as low risk and wanted to exclude this from the medical declaration. The advisor you spoke to explained that we are unfortunately unable to do this. It is simply our process that we do not offer the facility to exclude any declared conditions from a medical declaration. I appreciate that there may be other insurance companies that operate in this way, but we unfortunately do not. I cannot see that this was requested, but the advisor did not offer to refer this to an underwriter for a further opinion because doing so would not have yielded a different result. It is the underwriter themselves that set the policy terms such as this for which they will accept an applicant on cover. As i said, i appreciate that this may have caused you some inconvenience and i apologise if this is the case. I also appreciate this may not alter your views on the matter, and nor do I expect them to, but hopefully offers some context around this issue. Regards Leisure Guard team
