Dear Mr Choudhury, thank you for your feedback. I would like to address the following points:

1) We're sorry that you were guaranteed an absolute delivery date by a member of staff, that is unusual for our staff, especially when an item is not physically in stock at the time. We'll track down who answered your first call and find out what happened.

2) When you placed your order on the 22nd of July the item should have shown that it usually ships within 5 working days (our lead time on Bosch Lawn & Garden products), the shopping basket should have shown that we estimated shipping on the 4th of August, and your acknowledgement email said you should expect to receive your order within 6-7 working days. On the 4th of August we received at 14:20 (a day later than we'd normally expect) a shipment from Bosch that included the Hedgecutter allocated to you, at 14:27 it was picked for you and at 14:46 it was packed and in a cage waiting to be shipped to you. Delivery was signed for at 14:36 on the 5th of August. This timeline is to clarify that we met the delivery estimate we gave you at the time of placing the order.

3) Thank you for all the emails you sent us checking on the status of your order, I apologise that when you first queried the delivery time we did not clarify to you that a working day does not include Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays.
