We travel a fair bit, one or two 7-14 day trips per year. We had been using you guys and received a "special discount offer" in the mail a few months back. The letter said we could save $260/person...

Thank you for your feedback. The invoice number appears to be for a flight that you have booked, the discounts were only applicable on pre-packages with itravel2000.
We understand there is an asterisk * next to the discount amount and a note that says per person. This is absolutely a printing error and the discounts are per booking.
I completely understand your concerns but we are not able to offer any refunds, in the event of printing errors, we do reserve the right to revise or with draw these codes at any time with out prior notice.
We sincerely apologize about any inconvenience this may have caused.

WOW are you for real??? First the flight you saw booked was a different booking, this was a $5000 Mexico vacation was trying to book (booked it with a competitor after). Second, I don't care if it was "a printing error". When a price is posted on marketing material it should be honoured, unless you're looking to lose customers. Last, why the hell would you post this reply basically calling me stupid and defending your poor company policies? NO REPLY would have been better! Now you've annoyed me to the point of going out of my way to spread my story or iTravels poor customer service. Not only will I take my $5000-$10000/year of vacation money somewhere else, now I plan to bash you to everyone who will listen. You have a lot to learn about customer service....wow.

Cozumel vacation
Great customer service. E-tickets were not delivered within timeframe initially stated. I contacted the company and they emailed them to me within 20 mins. Great work!!!!
